Price:
The Invoice is based on the order date pricelist on the homepage.
The Prices shown on our English webpage are in EURO € and include Danish VAT if nothing says otherwise. You can change the currency.
 
Sales Tax
We currently only charge sales tax, at the applicable rate(25%), on sales orders delivered within the EU, in some countries we charge local VAT E.G. Germany is 19% VAT. If you are a company please provide us with your company Tax No and we will ship the items ordered without VAT if the TAX No is valid and if it complies with all laws in regard to sales tax.
Outside the EU, the items at shipped without VAT.
We gladly accept international orders. You are responsible for any customs, duties or taxes imposed by your country.
You can also order by mail and phone and you are always welcome in our shop in the heart of Copenhagen and the outskirts of Copenhagen.
 
Retention of title
In any case of credit.
 
Method of Payment for Internet Orders
You can pay 3 different ways.
1) With credit card VISA, MasterCard, Maestro JCB and Dankort. Transmissions from the checkout pages are secured through encryption technology. Encryption technology scrambles your message through a code to protect your information during transmissions.
 
2) Bank Transfer, Danske Bank IBAN: DK26 3000 4110 139683. The items at send when we have received the transfer - Fee: EURO 2,70 Should be added to the total amount.
 
3) Account - Not without a preceded agreement
 
Shipping:
We ship international orders via Scandinavian Post (PostNord).
We ship all over the world. You only pay Shipping and Handling Charges. Most orders are shipped from us within 36-48 hours. Delivery of your order to you will depend on where the delivery address is. Some delays may be unavoidable, also due to product unavailability. Also, please allow additional time for orders placed during the holidays or weekends.
 
Please keep an eye on the delivery, the shipment will return after 7 days, if the shipment is not being collected or an arrangement for delivery is not made again. Extra return-shipment will be paid by the customer. They may be is going to call you.
 
Returns
You have 14 days of "Return of Products" right according to Danish law. You only pay the shipping cost.
Note! We do not accept packages sent by post, cash on delivery, or collection. Note our opening hours. If your order is qualified for free shipping and you return it, we will charge you the shipping cost.
 
If the conditions for free shipping are met during the purchase, but the item is returned in a way that doesn't fulfill the conditions for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from the amount you are entitled to receive as a refund.
 
If the package is sent back from a country outside the EU, the package must be sent as a return package. Otherwise, we have to pay fees and customs duty. Remember our VAT No:DK31268052

Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time before shipment. We reserve the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer.
 
If the customer does not accept the order at the time of delivery or does not collect the shipment from the local post office within 7 days, we will charge the shipping cost to and from the customer. Outside the EU, customs-fee may reply.
 
Refund of payment via bank transfer.
When an amount is transferred via bank and needs to be refunded, a handling fee of 7 EUROs is applied to the customer.
 
Order Information
Please provide all the information requested in the order form. Order information is provided to us through a secure, encrypted transmission. We need your name, credit card number, expiration date, billing address for the credit card, shipping address (if different from the billing address), phone number, and e-mail address. We need your phone number and e-mail address to contact you if there is a problem with your order. When placing an order, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true and correct, that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you possess the legal authority to enter into your purchase agreement and to use this website in accordance with these terms. You agree to be financially responsible for your purchases through the website. Verification of your information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.
 
Backorders
We intend to stock every item presented on our webpage. Otherwise, we will always attempt to ship your order completely. However, situations occur where an item may be out of stock. In those situations, we will ship what we have in stock and request that you re-order the out-of-stock item at a later time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
 
Credits
Any credits left on your account can be used toward a future order or, at your request, we will issue a credit to your credit card account.

Price or Description Changes
All prices, pictures, and descriptions on this website are subject to change. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies. We are not responsible for pictorial, typographical, or other inadvertent errors.
 
Missing Items:
Missing Items: If a product is missing from your delivery, Leatherhouse reserves the right to refund the item price. If the value of the missing item is less than 20% of the total purchase amount, the price will be refunded. If the value exceeds 20%, Leatherhouse will resend the missing item.
 
Limitation of Liability.
We are not liable or responsible for any infections, contaminations, delays in operation or transmission, line failures, errors, omissions, interruptions, or defects arising out of your use of the Site or with respect to the material provided or contained in the Site. In no event shall leatherhouse.eu be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential damages, direct or other damages of any kind, resulting from whatever cause, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, even if LEATHERHOUSE has been previously advised of the possibility of such damages, whether in an action under contract, negligence or any other theory, arising out of or in connection the use, inability to use or performance of the information services, products, and materials available from the Site or otherwise.
 
Note that skins come from animals that have lived, ie defects etc can occur. Color, design etc. can vary from skin to skin. The sizes of the skins are for guidance only. Leather and fur are special products where in-depth knowledge of the subject is often required. LeatherHouse recommends that you seek knowledge about the subject before you buy. The leather house is always ready to answer questions.
 
If the order fails to arrive
 
If the order fails to arrive within the estimated delivery time, please wait a few more days.
If nothing arrives, the following can be done:
  • Try and call the shipping company, It can vary from country to country. EG: DPD.com , Postnord.com
  • Call or write to us, with info about your missing order.
  • We will initiate an investigation in collaboration with the postal service. Time can vary from country to country, please be patient it can take up to 60 days.
    The outcome may be that the parcel is found and sent to the recipient unless otherwise agreed. Or the package will be lost forever and a new replacement will be sent to the recipient.
  • If you can't wait for an inquiry, you can re-order and pay the normal full price. You must then inform us that you have chosen this option so that we can get the lost package back to us and pay you back for the original order.

We are sorry about this outcome.

 

Clause regarding responsibility for import of goods

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods ordered can be lawfully imported into the destination country. This includes compliance with all applicable import regulations, laws, and restrictions, including but not limited to obtaining necessary import licenses, permits, and certifications, and paying all applicable customs duties, taxes, and fees.

While the Company will provide accurate product information and assist the Customer with the import process to the best of its ability, the Company is not responsible for any delays, costs, or penalties arising from the Customer's failure to comply with import regulations in the destination country.

In the event that the goods are refused entry due to the Customer's failure to comply with import regulations, the Customer will be responsible for all costs associated with the return or disposal of the goods.

Deficiency:

If a product is missing from your delivery, Skindhuset reserves the right to refund the item price. If the value of the missing item is less than 30% of the total purchase amount, the price will be refunded. If the value exceeds 30%, Skindhuset will resend the missing item.

Knives / blades
Knives and blades are often delivered less sharpened. This is to prevent a really sharp knife from losing the "egg" under transport and kicking.

Iron
Many of our products are made of iron and can thus rust, some manufacturers add a little oil to prevent them from rusting during transport. The rust often comes from condensation, when there are rapid changes in temperatures condensation occurs. It does not affect the quality of the product.

Nickel:
Be aware of what nickel is in and where it is to be used, as Skindhuset sells goods with nickel in and cannot take responsibility for what the end-user uses the goods for. If the product says that it is nickel-free, the underlying metal may contain nickel, but the surface does not emit nickel. The leather case does not guarantee that the item is 100% nickel-free - Buy a test set at the pharmacy.

Sun and heat:
Leather, leather and fur should be kept away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Some skins, leather and fur may be treated so they can withstand the sun, but do not take it for granted. Leather, leather & fur are specialty products and there is a lot of information, opportunities and pitfalls attached to it.
