Affordable Diagonal Hole Punches (French Style)

We developed these affordable diagonal hole punches (French style) to create sharper stitches than diamond hole punches. The acute angle of the thread creates a crisp, clean impression.

Features:

  • Fully Tempered: The entire tool, from blade tip to imprinted area, is tempered to prevent bending and deformation. A gray coating is applied to prevent rust.

  • Hand-Polished Blades: Each blade is hand-polished for exceptional sharpness. The punches are easy to pull out from the leather, preventing damage to the material. The blade is protected with resin during shipping.

  • Uniform Blade Thickness: The blade thickness and width are uniform, ensuring consistent hole sizes regardless of leather thickness. (Conventional products have tapered blades, causing hole size variations depending on leather thickness.)

  • Non-Slip Grip: The 60mm handle has a non-slip grip.

  • Clear Markings: The size (I, II, III, IV) and "MADE IN JAPAN" are stamped on the tool (proof of OKA Factory quality).

Note:

  • The tool edge is delicate. Avoid damage by dropping or improper use.
  • Do not punch with excessive force or move the tool side to side during use. These actions can cause the prongs to snap off.
  • Stop punching when the tool edge has cut through the underside of the leather. Seam finishing is not affected by punching force.

Stitch Spacing Guide:

  • Diagonal hole punches (I) = Diamond hole punches (3mm)
  • Diagonal hole punches (II) = Diamond hole punches (3.5mm)
  • Diagonal hole punches (III) = Diamond hole punches (4mm)
  • Diagonal hole punches (IV) = Diamond hole punches (5mm)
