For trimming, push the tool at an angle of 45 degrees.
Push forward the blade at a constant speed.

How to resharpen the blade:
By putting Polishing compound and a few drops of oil on the trimmed side of the leather and pulling off the blade on it, you can get the sharpness of the blade again.
If you can’t sharpen the blade well, you can use our “Resharpen blade business”.

Give Your Leather Projects a Professional Finish with Our Edge Bevelers

Looking for a tool to give your leatherwork a polished and refined look? Our edge bevelers are a must-have for any leather crafter! These versatile tools not only bevel and round off the edges of leather, but can also be used on wood and plastic.

How to Use:

  1. Choose the Right Size: We offer a range of bevelers with different groove sizes. The larger the number, the wider the bevel. Select the size that best suits your project and desired edge finish.
  2. Prepare Your Edge: Ensure the edge of your leather (or other material) is smooth and even. You may need to trim or sand it before beveling.
  3. Moisten the Edge: (For leather) Lightly dampen the leather edge with water. This helps to prevent cracking and allows for smoother beveling.
  4. Position the Beveler: Place the beveler on the edge of your material, with the groove facing the edge.
  5. Apply Pressure and Glide: Apply firm, even pressure and glide the beveler along the edge. Maintain a consistent angle and speed for a uniform bevel.
  6. Repeat if Necessary: For a more pronounced bevel, repeat the process several times.
  7. Finish the Edge: After beveling, you can further refine the edge by sanding, burnishing, or applying an edge sealant.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Practice on scrap material first to get a feel for the tool and achieve the desired bevel.
  • Keep the beveler sharp for clean and efficient cutting.
  • Work in a well-lit area to ensure accuracy.

Versatile Applications:

  • Leather crafting: Belts, wallets, bags, saddles, etc.
  • Woodworking: Rounding edges on boxes, plaques, and other small projects.
  • Plastic crafting: Smoothing and finishing edges on plastic sheets or objects.

Elevate your craftsmanship with our high-quality edge bevelers and achieve professional-looking results on all your projects.
